the alter.

What was one thing you noticed about our group when you first joined?: The eagerness
for and maturity in worship.
What’s your favorite thing about our group?: I’ve found a group of friends
with whom I feel connected because of a common goal and outlook on life.
Any other comments to the people in cyber space?: When I first learned that I would
be moving to Burlington, I made a "deal" with God. I knew that living so far from my family and home to a small community
where I knew very few people, was 8 months pregnant and with an already active18 month old would be lonely and difficult at
times. I asked God for peace and contentment and His constant presence in my life.....He didn’t disappoint me. In fact,
He did "exceedingly, abundantly above all that I could ask or think". He gave me true friends, a place to worship in the style
I love, a ministry, leaders to look up to, and opportunities to teach students who taught me that its not about me and my
feelings, its all about loving despite my feelings. In short, my life in Burlington now has a purpose and I can’t
imagine being anywhere else right now. I love my "family" there and my desire is to work together with them to make a difference
in peoples’ lives and lead them to the cross.
